I’ve put about 10-12 hours into the game since picking it up, that should be enough for a quick rundown of my thoughts, yeah? I’d make this a full review, but I prefer to save those until I’ve actually beaten the thing, on the chance that something unexpectedly horrible should pop up. Anyway, let’s get started.
As you guys know, I am an absolute sucker for special editions with physical goods. Even in an age where it makes entirely more sense to go digital, if you throw in a soundtrack or a nice box, I’m sold on a physical copy. Shin Megami Tensei 4 went all-out with their physical release this time around, but is it worth the lack of convenience?
The Summer 2013 anime season has started and a new season means new shows. I’ve been following the manga of WataMote for some time and was all kinds of psyched about it getting a series, although I’ll admit to some worry about how well they’d handle the adaptation. So let’s talk about that, yeah?
I’ve always been a fan of the Harvest Moon series, but I’ve never found one that stood up to the Nintendo 64 or Playstation 1 versions. After hearing a ton of good things and having some spare money, I decided to grab A New Beginning on a whim. So let’s get talkin’ about how it stands up to the rest.
And we’re back! Sorry about the whole month-long hiatus without notice bit, folks. In my defense, I discovered GoG.com and Attack on Titan, which’ve been eating up a fair bit of my time. Speaking of GoG, that’s where I got Enclave and that game prompted me to write once more!
E3 is only a few days away, the hype is building like crazy, and a ton of rumors are about to be put to rest. Since I’m always a fan of pre-event speculation and predictions, I figured I’d give it a shot myself. Since I’m mostly a Nintendo guy and haven’t been following the other companies all that much, this is gonna be a Nintendo-centric set of predictions. Let’s get started!
I’ve never had such a mixed bag of feelings when it came to a game before. I don’t really know how to open something like this without completely spoiling the verdict and my final thoughts, so apologies for the below-standard intro, guys. Also, since I just beat it, expect spoilers for the entirety of the game, especially in the second half of the article. Right then, critique time!
