Best. Album. Ever.

First, I should introduce myself. I go by Pyrkinas ’round these parts. I volunteered to write here for big bro, but I’ve been stuck on what to start with since then. I wanted my first post to be something big. And now, I’ve found it.

Play For Japan is releasing a charity album in June to support the Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund. Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka has brought together video game music composers from around the world for this project, and the renowned illustrator Yoshitaka Amano is doing the album’s artwork. It will be available for iTunes when it hits, and I know I’m planning on scrounging up the money for it. Check out Yamaoka’s announcement here.
